Troy Tulowitzki had talents as a shortstop comparable to some of the greats—such as Cal Ripken Jr., Derek Jeter, and Alex Rodriguez. However, he was injury-prone and rarely played more than 140 games in a season due to various ailments. Tulowitzki was selected to five All-Star games, won two Silver Slugger awards, and two Gold Glove awards during his 13-season career.
