Touki gave up on baseball at age 10 because he had trouble making contact with the ball as a batter. However, two years later a bet with a friend brought him back to baseball. He was a first round draft pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2014 MLB Draft. He currently pitches for the Los Angeles Angels.
