Retiring My 2010 Prospects Collection

The 2010 class of prospects had highly successful MLB careers, and most of them are still active. Of the twelve prospects, seven are all-stars. Every player except for one made it to the major leagues.

Here’s a look at my 2010 Prospects collection, and the final results of each player’s career (players who are still active are in bold):

  2. Hyun-Jin Ryu (active MLB 9-year veteran, 1x all-star)
  3. Jeremy Hellickson (retired MLB 10-year veteran)
  4. Anthony Rendon (active MLB 11-year veteran, 1x all-star)
  5. Chris Marrero (retired MLB 3-year veteran)
  6. Nick Weglarz (retired, reached AAA-level minor leagues, never made it to MLB)
  7. Michael Pineda (active MLB 9-year veteran, 1x all-star)
  8. Freddie Freeman (active Hero of Baseball)
  9. Juan Francisco (retired MLB 6-year veteran)
  10. Giancarlo Stanton (active Hero of Baseball)
  11. Christian Colon (retired MLB 6-year veteran)
  12. Eric Hosmer (active MLB 13-year veteran, 1x all-star)
