Buster Posey led the San Francisco Giants to three World Series victories. He is one of the best hitting catchers of all time and even won the National League batting title in 2012.
A 2011 home plate collision with Scott Cousins led to the MLB adopting rule 7.13, known colloquially as the Buster Posey Rule, banning intentional home plate collisions with the catcher. He ended up missing the rest of the season as the result of the collision, but came back and played the best season of his career in 2012.
While playing in college, Posey once had an epic game where he played all nine positions, hit a grand slam, and struck out the only two batters he faced as the pitcher.
